Animals in Action was our first foray into the digital publishing world. Published in 2013, it is only available as an iBook for iPad and is a field guide to the common mammals of South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. It was originally self-published as a printed book during our five years based in the park.

Species covered include

African Elephant, Hippopotamus, Thornicroft’s Giraffe, Lion, Leopard, African Wild Dog, Spotted Hyaena, Serval, Crawshay’s Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Impala, Puku, Common Waterbuck, Chobe Bushbuck, Zambezi Kudu, Eland, Zambian Reedbuck, Sharpe’s Grysbok, Common Duiker, Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest, Cookson’s Wildebeest, Warthog, Honey Badger, African Civet, Rusty-spotted Genet, Banded Mongoose, Slender Mongoose, White-tailed Mongoose, Yellow Baboon, Vervet Monkey, Aardvark, Porcupine, Scrub Hare, Tree Squirrel, Four-toed Elephant Shrew and Peter’s Epauletted Fruit Bat.
